Fort Lauderdale, FL – The 2025 Florida Fertility Expo is set to bring together leading experts, industry professionals, and groundbreaking innovations in reproductive and maternal health. Scheduled for April 18 and 19 in Fort Lauderdale, this two-day event will offer attendees valuable resources, solutions, and support on infertility, women’s health, and the latest advancements in fertility treatments.
The Expo serves as an inclusive and supportive space for individuals affected by infertility, providing opportunities for networking, sharing experiences, and learning about various reproductive health solutions. Participants will have access to a wide range of topics, from IVF and egg donation to surrogacy, adoption, acupuncture, financial relief, legal advice, and more. Interactive workshops and seminars led by top fertility specialists and advocates will offer essential information for those navigating their fertility journey.
“The Florida Fertility Expo is truly a labor of love for me. After struggling with infertility for 20 years, I gave birth to my daughter at the age of 50,” said Michelle McKoy, Infertility Advocate and Founder of the Florida Fertility Expo. “This expo represents everything I wished I had during my own journey—knowledge, empowerment, and support—to help individuals thrive as they face the challenges of building their families.”
With nearly 1 in 6 people worldwide affected by infertility, according to the World Health Organization, the need for accessible, affordable fertility care has never been greater. The federal government’s efforts to expand IVF access and treatment options further highlight the importance of understanding one’s rights and options.
Attorney Andrew Rader, an IVF-negligence expert and the Expo’s Keynote Speaker, emphasized the need for individuals to ask the right questions when choosing IVF clinics. “While IVF offers hope, it’s crucial to be aware of the legal landscape. 80% of IVF negligence cases occur in the US, many due to errors like embryo mix-ups. Understanding your legal rights and reviewing contracts is essential to navigating this journey confidently,” said Rader.
The Expo will also kick off with a Reproductive and Maternal Health Summit, coinciding with Black Maternal Health Week, to discuss the challenges faced by urban and minority communities. The summit will address the disparities in reproductive healthcare, particularly for underserved women, and explore community-driven solutions to improve access and outcomes. The panel will also examine how Florida state laws impact reproductive health services.
