Illume Fertility, a leading fertility practice in the tri-state area, has kicked off its annual campaign for National Infertility Awareness Week® (NIAW), running from April 20–26, 2025. The week-long initiative aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and amplify the voices of those affected by infertility.
The campaign will feature five personal patient stories, shared daily on Illume’s Learning Center and social media platforms. These stories will highlight the diverse paths to parenthood, such as IVF, IUI, surrogacy, and donor conception, and address the emotional struggles that accompany fertility challenges.
“National Infertility Awareness Week serves as an important reminder that 1 in 6 couples face infertility,” said Dr. Mark Leondires, Medical Director and Founder of Illume Fertility. “At Illume, we strive to provide expert care and supportive resources to everyone on their family-building journey. Our Sunfish IVF Success Program, special financing options, and personalized guidance on grants are just some ways we empower individuals and couples to take the next step with confidence.”
As part of the campaign, Illume is offering a $100 discount on initial consultations for new, self-pay patients who book by May 15, 2025, and complete their appointments by June 15, 2025. Both virtual and in-person appointments are available to improve accessibility.
