Birla Fertility & IVF has opened a new fertility centre in Jalandhar, marking an important milestone in the company’s expansion plans. This launch is part of a broader strategy to increase the network of clinics to 100 across India, with an investment of over Rs 500 crore in the coming years.
The fertility chain now operates 51 clinics in 38 cities across 18 states, offering reliable, transparent, and holistic fertility treatments to individuals and couples. The new Jalandhar centre aims to improve access to advanced fertility care for people in the Doaba region of Punjab, including Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, and Phagwara. It will also serve patients from nearby areas such as Gurdaspur and parts of Himachal Pradesh, addressing the increasing demand for specialized fertility services in these underserved regions.
Abhishek Aggrawal, CEO of Birla Fertility & IVF, explained, “With the Jalandhar clinic, we are strengthening our presence in North India. We want to ensure that couples in Punjab and surrounding areas don’t have to travel far or experience delays to get quality fertility care. Guided by our ‘All Heart. All Science.’ approach, we are committed to making fertility treatment more accessible and normalizing the conversation around it.”
Dr. Sukriti Sharma, the Centre Head and Consultant at Birla Fertility & IVF in Jalandhar, highlighted the factors affecting fertility in the region. In Punjab and nearby northern states, lifestyle issues, PCOS, low ovarian reserve, and male infertility are major challenges. Many people also struggle with the lack of quality local fertility services. At our Jalandhar centre, we offer the latest technology and advanced lab facilities to provide the best chances of success. Our goal is to empower people by offering world-class fertility treatment to help them achieve their dream of parenthood.”
