Drew Arellano recently underwent a vasectomy after welcoming his fifth child with wife Iya Villania. The TV host shared a lighthearted post on Instagram following the procedure, where he posed in a hospital gown and medical hair net.
He captioned the photo: “Happy late and advanced Mother’s Day to my wife,” along with hashtags like “#HappyVA-SEC-TO-MEEE,” “#snipsnip,” and “#SarapYungSedativeAh.”
Fans and followers quickly praised Drew for his decision. Comments such as, “You’re the man Drew! Salute for being a responsible husband and dad!” and “Not all men would do that, so proud of you!” flooded the post.
In 2023, Drew had already discussed his plans for the procedure. A vasectomy is a male birth control method that prevents sperm from reaching the semen during a surgical procedure.
Drew and Iya, married since 2014, are parents to five children: Primo, Leon, Alana, Astro, and Anya.
